Woodgrain: Fashion Editorial and Set Design
Everyone’s falling for a wicker husband this month. I went a little further
into the woods: burl, bentwood, and pleated grain, worn as couture,
carved into jewelry, and built into the room itself.
-
It started with a single image of a woman reclining in a crescent of burl. From there I built out the full world, from styling, hair, and beauty to accessories and sets, generating the frames in Midjourney, grading them in Lightroom, and editing more than 70 finished images down to 33.
-
The result is a complete editorial story with a consistent palette and point of view. It’s the same world-building I bring to brands, events, and spaces that need to be seen before they exist.
-
Every detail was chosen on purpose, from the jewelry to the walls. That same eye goes into every project, whether it lives on a page, a runway, or a room.
